Conjecture 2 is over. (Maybe you would be interested in Conjecture 3?) It had 36 pre-registered members, all of whom attended, plus 11 full at-the-door members and 4 Saturday-only members (as of sometime Saturday afternoon when I took a count).
October 14-16, 2011
Hotel rates are $95/night for single/double, $125 for a suite
You can make reservations by calling 1-877-810-5190. Please use the code COF to make sure the hotel knows to give the correct rate and to credit the reservation to our room block. (We hope to have an online link soon, but there are currently technical difficulties at the hotel's end.) Our hotel room block expires on October 1, but please make your reservation as soon as you can. Remember—October the first is too late!
Pretty much the same thing you've seen at previous years when the equivalent convention was called Convivial. There will be food, gaming, and programming run by the inestimable Laura Krentz. Conjecture should be a relaxing weekend filled with conversation, activity, hanging around, and general enjoyment. Here's the most recent programming schedule.
The other people with the convention (so far) are Beth Friedman, Matt Strait, Lydia Nickerson, Thorin Tatge, Richard Tatge, and Eric Forste. And I'm looking for someone to help with pre-con shopping and Friday hospitality. You, perhaps?
Registration rates are $40 per person, same as last year. We'll probably have one-day registrations available at the door for $20 per day.
Print and fill out the registration form, or pay the $40 registration fee via PayPal.
