The Minn-StF Board is trying to find a new Rune Editor. Please contact any board member for more details.
Older hard-of-seeing fan from South Mpls is looking for immediate and periodic help clipping her cat's claws. If anyone is willing to help, please call Polly at 522-7178 to
get the details.
Polly Peterson has a lowest-rates-possible membership to AussieCon available. Call her at 522-7178 if you are interested. Buy early, nominate for Hugos!
Einblatt has a new editor.
My general deadline will be midnight on the Thursday nine days before the first Minn-StF Saturday of the month, with the intent being to get the Einblatt out Monday or Tuesday before Minn-StF Saturday. Items occurring before the first Minn-StF meeting of the month should be submitted to me to be included in the previous month's Einblatt. I'll print them in both, but no one should count on the Einblatt arriving in time for people to learn about their function on the second of the month.
I will look at late December 1998 and see how the fact that the Minn-StF meeting is 31 December impacts my deadline - I'd like to get the January Einblatt in people's hands in time to be a reminder about New Year's Eve.
Expansion policy: Minn-StF meetings will be automatically expanded to street address and phone number as they are printed in the most recent directory! If different information should be used, it must be included. (OK, if I happen to know that the directory data is obsolete, I'll use what I know to be current. But that's my policy - if I don't know it's different, whoever better make certain I know what it should be!) Upon request, other items will be expanded using the same data - i.e., "Gamesday Players, Dreampark, Friday, 11 December, 7PM, expand per Minn-StF directory". I will try to remember expansion requests for future use, but would strongly encourage people to remind me!
Board of Directors: Margo Bratton, Dean Gahlon, Polly Peterson, Martin Schafer, and Geri Sullivan. Email board@mnstf.org . Subject to verification at the previous meeting, the board meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at Courts of Chaos, Mn-STF meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Saturday every month.
