Correction: According to Patrick Nielsen Hayden, John M. Ford’s, The Last Hot Time, new hc novel from Tor, will not be out in March 2000, but rather late in 2000, due to additional work being done on the manuscript.

Minnesota Technolog for May/June 1999 is their annual Science Fiction issue: this features three story contest winners (two by Chad Greene and one by Maija Meneke) and a brief story by Margaret Hamilton on the local Bujold/ Kerr/ Mathessen/ Wrede writing group.

Former local Kij Johnson is once again on the final jury for the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award.
