The 2000 "Preliminary" (long) Nebula ballot includes A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold (one of fifteen novels) and "Stellar Harvest" by Eleanor Arnason (one of nine novelettes). Final (short) ballot will be released in March; awards will be presented at Nebula Awards Weekend in Los Angelese 27-29 April, for which Neil Gaiman is serving as Toastmaster.
Bujold's A Civil Campaign was also a finalist (in the sf novel category) for the Romantic Times' Reviewer's Choice Award.
The "2000 Recommended Reading" list in the Feb. LOCUS includes Growing Wings by Laurel Winter ("First Novels" category) and "The Cloud Man" by Eleanor Arnason (Novelette category).
