On Wednesday, March 5, 2003 the MNSTF Board signed a contract to sell all backissues and lease the name Tales of the Unanticipated (TOTU) to TOTU Ink, Inc, a corporation formed to publish TOTU by its editor, Eric M. The audiotape version of Neil Gaiman's Coraline won a "Cuffie" (children's booksellers) award from Publishers Weekly. Coraline also made the 2003 Best Books for Young Adults list from the Young Adult Library Services Association.
Lois McMaster Bujold's Diplomatic Immunity is a Romantic Times Book Club Award finalist in Best Science Fiction Novel class. Bujold also sold Italian translation rights to the novel. Bujold was named Author of the Year by Fictionwise.com (the eBooks Awards) and her The Vor Game was named eBook of the Year. Neil Gaiman sold Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish translation rights to Coraline.
