Correction: Kij Johnson, The River Bank (a sequel to Wind In The Willows) is now out as a Small Beer Press hc/eb

Kij Johnson's The Dream Quest of Vellitt Boe is a World Fantasy Award finalist in the "Best Long Fiction" category.

Marissa Lingen has a story, "Across Pack Ice, a Fire" in the 31 August 2017 issue of Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and her 2015 Analog story "Blue Ribbon" is reprinted in the September issue of Lightspeed.

Dennis E. Staples has a story, "The Fourth Hill," in the Sept/Oct Asimov's.

Bryan Thao Worra is interviewed in the September issue of Mithila Review ("Secret Wars and Distant Stars," conducted by Brandy Lien Worrall; the issue also reprints two of his poems, "What Kills a Man" and "An Archaeology of Snow Forts."
