From einblatt-list@mnstf.org Sat Apr 3 07:25:14 2021 Date: Sat, 03 Apr 2021 05:25:12 -0700 From: Einblatt Subject: Einblatt Current (April 2021) Hey folks, this is the monthly Einblatt for April 2021. I'd like to formally apologize for the typo last month, as my keyboard is old & keys are starting to stick. On the other hand, I promise there are no April Fools jokes in this newsletter. It's two days after April Fools anyway. Red Balloon Bookshop is selling mystery packs! If you enjoy a bit of a gamble with your reading, you can buy a set of books picked at random, or rig the system and get some books by genre. They cost $28 and can be purchased here: https://www.redballoonbookshop.com/mystery-book-pack Minn-STF board elections have come and gone. As usual, the landslide vote was five for number of board members. Those five members are: Hershey Harris, Linda Lounsbury, Scott Raun, Matt Strait, and Aaron Vander Giessen. Saint Paul has issued a public survey on what they should do with excess budget. The Saint Paul Public Library highly encourages people to suggest three new libraries. You can sign the survey here, though do know you need to register on their official state website: https://www.stpaul.gov/departments/financial-services/capital-improvement-budget-process Jeanne Mealy sent me this to announce this month: THE PRINT SIDE OF THE FORCE LIVES! Stipple-Apa 341 will be collated in St. Paul on April 3rd (that's today!). New members are welcome if you like to keep in touch with other fans AND enjoy writing for fun about whatever comes to mind (regular participation is part of the deal). Art is appreciated, too. You provide copies of your zine, we collate them, and you can pick up the issue or have it mailed. The apa comes out every six weeks. For info, contact Jeanne Mealy, 651-771-7226 or jmealy-in-mn@comcast.net. It's probably too late to submit for this issue, but I'm sure they'll accept submissions for their next issue.
