Kind of like a Minnstf picnic, but with shortened hours as a concession to winter and a fire to keep us warm. There are lots of ways to get there, but what we do is cross the 46th Street Bridge, turn right immediately on the other side, and follow the East River Road past Hidden Falls and another 2 miles to the turnoff labeled Crosby Farm Road. You go down a hill to a magical hidden park by the river with a sheltered firepit and picnic tables and its own parking lot.
