Minicon Meeting -- Sunday, November 17, 2002 Larry Sanderson announced that he had check request forms. He also said that registrations seem to be going well. The PayPal account is up and working. There was some discussion of World Fantasy Con. The Con Suite was great. However, they had three times the Con Suite budget that we have. Chapbooks: Larry has received Mia's questions, and will respond to them. Last time we printed 150 chapbooks (200 for Leslie Fish) priced at $5 ($10 for Leslie's). They eventually sold out. Progress Report 3 should have more specifics about programming, perhaps mentioning the dance ("Time Traveler's Ball under the Stars". It will have a wordfinder puzzle, with local fannish references. However, it should be also a little lighter--PR 2 was just over a postage rate cutoff. It was considered appropriate to simply provide Web links rather than detailed instructions for hotel registration, travel information, etc. There will be an open programming meeting Nov. 19 at Larry's. Program planning is not going as fast as we would like, but it is not yet at a crisis point. Hotel: A walkthru will be scheduled for November or December. Geri needs to participate in order to allocate space for hospitality. Off-World Designs will do the con T-Shirt. Rachel will coordinate this. Premiums for volunteers: Geri has the hospitality ribbons from ConJose. Old Minicon T-Shirts and other goodies were also suggested.
