Madame President David Cummer beat the Minn-STF meeting of 2 May 1987 into
submission around 4 pm, as co-host and recording secretary Denny Lien awed
with awe ("Awe...")

DC, operating under the fair trade description laws, announced that future
Minn-STF business meetings under his ["tyrannical" struck out with slashes] reign will all start about 4 pm.

Future Minn-STF meetings:  16 May: somewhere ((later determined to be the home
[sic] Jan Appelbaum and Page Ringstrom)); 30 May, possibly at JA/PR ((and later determined
_not_ to be there, as they have 16 May instead));  13 June: Joel Halpern/Geoff Stone's
((in spite of earlier announcement that this would be at GB/HS's)); 27 June :

The Minn-STF Board (that Fun Bunch of Fen) announces a RUNE JAMBOREE  on Tuesday,
12 May 87, at Toad Hall: come to discuss The Why and Wherefore and Whither of RUNE
(you all remember RUNE don't you?): showing up does _not_ (necessarily) indicate a
volunteer to edit the albatross.  ("Albatross!"  "Does it come with wafers or stipend?"
"Course it doesn't; it's a bloody clubzine!!"  "Albatross!!")

Herman Schouten announces a wargame session on 17 May, starting between noon and
1 pm and ending around 6 pm, at his placed[sic].  My notes say "MicroAmer" which probably
means microbes invade America or something like that.  Trust me; call him.

Eric M. Heideman announces that ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE July 87 and
paperback original anthology WRITERS OF THE FUTURE vol. 3, both with stories by him
therein, will be out momentarily or at least weekentirely; in the meanwhile, copies
of the Minn-STF semi-prozine TALES OF THE UNANTICIPATED #2, edited by EMH, is out
and is available for $2.50.

Dan Goodman putridly announced that his mother is 73 today. (Minn-STF's lucky number.)

Karen Johnson announced that,until the Minn-STF Library is set up in Don/Margo's
attic, she will[handwritten:"/"]be bringing trade fanzines to Minn-STF meetings on a read-but-don't-
take-away basis----as, for instance, the box of same today.

Eric M. Heideman announced that Second Foundation meeting of 17 May is at his place [handwritten: "+is"]
on Cordwainer Smmith (better  known as Paul Linebarger [handwritten: ","] and worser known as Felix
Forrest or Carmichael Smith).  Eric's basement apartment is apt for underpeople[handwritten scribble of some sort over the "u"]...

David Cummer sought a volunteer for the 16 May 87 meeting, while all truefen are
off at Keycon.  ((Fakefen Jan and Page later determined to have accepted this.))
