The bus will leave Minneapolis on Wednesday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m., with
stops later in the day in Madison and Chicago.  We plan to arrive at the con hotel
about 5:00 p.m. Thursday.  We will leave D.C. about 4:00 p.m. Monday, arriving
back in Minneapolis around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.  The bus in air-conditioned, and since
we are working with Greyhound, if the air conditioner does break down, we can switch
to a new bus at the next Greyhound terminal.
     The cost of the round trip is $60.  If only 34 people go, we won't be able to
afford more than that.  If more people go, we will have money to furnish little
luxuries like free ice, water, and cups for the bus; a trip to the Smithsonian;
party supplies for a bus party; etc.  Any money received in excess of the amount
needed to rent the bus will be used in a manner that will benefit the bus riders.
     A couple of Minneapolis people have expressed interest in riding on the bus
to Discon, but finding an alternate, more devious, more time-consuming method to
get back after Discon.  If anybody out there is interested in visiting Minneapolis
after Discon and would be interested in a one way ride on the bus after Discon,
please let us know as soon as possible, and we will try to work things out.
     To join Discon II, send a check for $7.00 (attending) to Discon II, P.O. Box
31127, Washington, D.C. 20031.  Non-attending memberships are $3.00.  Attending
memberships bought at the door will probably be at least $10.
