Sinclair Lewis's 1935 dystopian novel It Can't Happen Here is again a "Hall of Fame" finalist for the Prometheus Awards (from the Libertarian Futurist Society).

Scott Lynch's The Lies Of Loch Lamora is a finalist for the Compton Crook Award for best first novel published in 2006.

David Prill, "Vivisepulture," is in Logorrhea, ed. John Kline (Bantam, 2007).

Laurel Winter was a member of the most recent Tiptree Awards jury.

Patricia Wrede sold a trilogy ("Frontier Magic") to Scholastic Books.
