Finalists for the 2010 Shirley Jackson Awards include Stories (ed. Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio) in the Anthology category and Gaiman's "The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains" (from Stories) in the Novelette category. "From Homogenous to Honey" by Gaiman and Bryan Talbot is reprinted in Brave New Worlds (ed. John Joseph Adams; Nightshade tp).

The cover of the Australian prozine Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine #48 is by Minneapolis artist Chris Mars.

The anthology Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades: Lesbian Ghost Stories, edited by Catherine Lundoff (Lethe Press) was designated as a “Best Other Work” at the 2010 Gaylactic Spectrum Awards in Atlanta. 3 stories from the anthology also made the short fiction finalist list.
