Ruth Berman's Bradamant's Quest is the Midwest Independent Publishers Award winner for best 2011 book in the category of Fiction: Fantasy/SF/Horror

Nebula Award for best novella went to “The Man Who Bridged the Mist” by former local Kij Johnson. It was nominated for a Sturgeon (sf/f short story) award, but withdrawn by the author, Kij Johnson, as she was one of the award judges

The Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation went to the Doctor Who story "The Doctor's Wife," written by Neil Gaiman
