Official Minn-StF Announcements:

By-Law Amendments:
The following shall be added to By-Law II

7. The society shall have an anti-harassment policy, applicable to meetings of members, that has been approved by the board of directors, and shall publish that policy on a web page that is prominently linked to from the main page of the society's web site, and shall be available in printed form at meetings of members.
The following shall be added to By-Law VI
7. Each convention, as defined above, to be held shall have an anti-harassment policy that has been approved by the board of directors, and shall publish that policy on a web page that is prominently linked to from the convention's main page, and in convention publications as appropriate.

Host Right of Exclusion Policy:

While it is true that all sentient beings are eligible for Minn-stf membership, most Minn-stf meetings take place at the private houses of members, rather than in public space. There are circumstances where, for one reason or another, other members are not welcome at some members' houses. Minn-stf is choosing to recognize that this situation exists, as opposed to only hosting meetings at places where the hosts have a completely open door policy. In such a situation where a member is not welcome in a host's house, said member shall be allowed to use the sign-in book to sign in, and such a signature shall be deemed as attendance for voting purposes. It is expected that meeting hosts will use discretion in applying such an exclusion. It is the host's responsibility to inform anyone being excluded, the host may request a board member to server as go-between if desired.

This policy shall not apply to meetings held in public spaces.

Minn-StF Anti-Harassment Policy:
Anyone who is interested in writing, or in the exact wording of, the Minn-StF Anti-Harassment, please contact Scott Raun, sraun@fireopal.org
