Kara Dalkey, "Philosopher Duck," Asimov's for June 2014

Tales of the Unanticipated #31 is now out, including (among other works) material by Minnesotans Cezarija Abartis, S.N. Arly, Eleanor Arnason, Ruth Berman, Ray C. Booth, Suzanne Clarke, Amanda Elg, Terry A. Garey, editor Eric M. Heideman, Rebecca Marjesdatter, the late Ed Rom, Emma Willcox, and Jason D. Wittman.

The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch was the #2 hc on the February Locus bestseller list and his The Lies of Locke Lamora was #10 on the paperback list.

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman was #hc bestseller on the February Locus list; #4 on the Barnes and Noble/B. Dalton hc list reported in the same issue; and #11 fantasy bestseller on the audible.com list.
