Lot more to cover here than anticipated, so the interns are working overtime to keep everything in order. Next Minn-STF meeting is on May 21 in Linda Lounsbury's backyard: 4125 Dupont Avenue, 3PM to 10PM. -Vaccinations and boosters required in the back yard; masks optional since they will be outdoors. -Garage (open) and canopy provided in case of rain. -Un-vaxxed may sign guest register/sign-in sheet in driveway, then tour Lyndale Park & Rose Gardens across Dupont. -Coals will be hot by 6 p.m. for anyone bringing grillables (rain permitting). -Assorted beverages and snack food will be provided or bring your own. There's a group camping trip happening from May 13-16 in Afton Park. This is not an official Minnstf event, but it is Minnstf adjacent. Emily Stewart has reserved Group Campsite #1 at Afton State Park for the weekend . Minnstf members are encouraged to show up with their campers, vans, or tents. There will be one or more group fire circles in the evening, plus any other events that people want to organize. There has been talk of a guided "plant walk."
