After a somewhat long hiatus I will finally be performing my duties as the
technical Einblatt Editor. So for the rest of this month we have one MNStF
meeting, and a few MNStF related events.

Gala BIRTHDAY MEETING for Hershey Harris! Be there or be square. This will be an
indoor-outdoor meeting with the following COVID-related policies  * COVID-19
booster required on or after 2022-09-01.   * Masking optional. Kids okay (with
accompanying adult). No pets. No guns. ~~~~~~~~~~~ If you're new to Minn-StF,
you should know that our "meetings" are actually parties. The business meeting
(5 minutes of announcements) will typically take place between 5-6pm.  Bringing
food or beverage to share is encouraged, but not required. Hosts will provide
some food and beverage.

MNStF Related Events

Game Night at DreamPark!
Every Friday 7 PM - ~Midnight (sometimes a little earlier and sometimes later)
(no game night for Minicon/Easter weekend and some other exceptions that I will
post here when applicable)
This is hosted by Richard and Thorin Tatge (and sometimes Sharon)
Tabletop gamers are welcome and invited to come, and if you're a little more of
a social person there's plenty of fun people to chat with (almost all are with
MNStF or Minicon)
I also go to this very regularly so come say hi!

There's also a local gaming convention 2DCon, they have close to an even mix of
video gaming and tabletop/board gaming. I will be there and I expect Clay Harris
will be there. If you're interested in more gaming then maybe you should check
it out.

Upcoming for September there will be a MNStF Picnic meeting as well as a Minicon
ConCom meeting.

MNSTF PICNIC WabunA (Matt)

Minnehaha Park, Wabun Picnic Area, Shelter A

HOSTS: Matt Strait and Stacey Lam Announcing the 3rd Minnstf Summer Picnic for
2023!   The location is the Wabun Picnic Area at Minnehaha Falls Park, Shelter
A.    Note that while this picnic is at Minnehaha Falls Park it is NOT at the
location we used from approximately 2005-2018. We are back at the Wabun Picnic
Area from years ago, between the Veterans Home and Lock and Dam Number One.  One
of the great things about this location is that it has its own parking lot, thus
evading the usual Minnehaha Falls parking nightmare. Shelter A is accessed
through the TOP (North) parking lot. Technically it is at the very end of 46th
Avenue South, but it feels more like you're heading down the driveway of the
Veterans' Home. Check your map before you leave. This event is an official
Minnstf meeting and will count towards voting eligibility.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If

M57 Concom mtg
Saturday, September 2nd 4 pm to 10 pm

Wabun Shelter A, Minnehaha Falls Park

Minicon 57, first concom meeting, at Minnstf Picnic. 

We promise it will be under 1 hour long!
(this is our very first ConCom meeting of the Minicon 57 cycle, our chairs do
urge anyone interested in working on Minicon, or who are on the fence about it,
to please show up and as a bonus there's a picnic to enjoy afterward.
