Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the MINNESOTA
SCIENCE FICTION SOCIETY, INC., held at 2408 Dupont Av. So., in
Minneapolis, on 27 March 1976.
    This was the first meeting of the board, which had been so
constituted after the MNSTF election held earlier that same day.
    The meeting was called to order by Director Ken Fletcher at
4:00 PM. Present were Directors Fred Haskell, Jan Appelbaum, and
Dave Wixon (in addition to Fletcher).
    Director Margie Lessinger was absent.
    The Board unanimously elected Denny Lien to the office of
President of MNSTF; Lien was called into the meeting and then took
over the chair (after agreeing to accept the office).
    The Board then unanimously elected Ken Hoyme to the office of
Vice-President, Jan Appelbaum to the Treasury, and Gerry Wassenaar
to the office of Secretary.
    It was officially noted that Jan Appelbaum was closest to the
door.
    The Board agreed to begin accepting applications for the position
of editor of RUNE, and a meeting was tentatively scheduled for the
latter half of April.
    The Board adjourned at 4:25 PM.
    The undersigned acted as Secretary in the absence of the newly-
appointed Secretary.
