Carol note - Gestetner paper & ink is better than paper depot's (slightly more expensive) Carol suggests we request budget from new editors before 1st issue. (Jonathan, Carol & Gerry will all be out of town during Dec. 29th meeting at Jerry Stearn's, board will try to rally w/ Jerry at Jan. 13th meeting or at a mutually agreeable time sooner than that. ---- ---- Next meetings - Difficulty in finding meeting space - can we encourage people with large apartments/houses or those who have party rooms (at large complexes) to host meetings. Do we want to subsidize meetings? #2 Joel wants to put $6.5K into a money market fund. Carol: Board hereby authorizes Jonathan Adams & Joel Halpern to begin an investment program with society funds, in an amount up to $6,500.- (beginning fund), with interest automatically reinvested at their discretion.
