This is a transcription of paper minutes done by Matt Strait in 2020. The intent was to transcribe exactly without corrections, however I may certainly have introduced new typos or inadvertently corrected some. Where I have noticed typos, I have marked them with "[sic]". ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Fifth Meeting of the 1982/1983 Minn-STF Board This meeting was held on July 20, 1982 in the home of board member Judy Cilcain. Others present were board members Scott Imes, Karen Johnson, Kate Worley and Don Bailey. Also present were Minn-STF officers Steve Brust, Lynn Anderson,Joel Halpren [sic: Halpern] and Virginia Nelson, Rune editor John Bartelt and Jerry Stearns. The meeting began at 7:20 with a short discussion about moving the Minn-STF Library into the home of McInroy. A meeting was set for july 29 in the home of Dave Wixon. Becouse [sic] there were conflicting records there was a re-vote of the Plergb Con seed money. The amount voted would be $750.00, disregarding all previous votes in favor of this one. The was a general consenus [sic] in favor of a "Minneapolis in '73" party at Chi-Con. The board would remain open to suggestions if anyone volenteered [sic] to run it. Steve Brust presented a plan to include in Rune a photo essay on the building of his guitar. David Dyer-Bennet would be preparing the photos. This would raise the printing costs of Rune for that issue. The board asked for more information at a latter [sic] meeting. Jerry Stearns asked the board to make a contribution to radio station KFAI as has been done in the past. The board approved $100.00 for this purpose. The meeting was adjourned and the house was opened to a celebration of The Day of Our Moon Landing, Thirteen.
