All text between the lines of dashes is verbatim, except for "[sic]"
marking noticed typos.

       Minnesota Science Fiction Society Board Meeting 4/26/83

                         Official(?) Minutes

     Prexy Dean Gahlon, Veep Virginia Nelson, Recsec DavE Romm,
Boarders Don Bailey and Scott Imes say hello outside Boarder Judy
Cilcain's house.  We go inside and say hello to all assmebled [sic], which
include Boarders Sharon Kahn and Karen Johnson, and Curtis Hoffman.

     Pregnancy discussed.  "Twins are the worst."  Amber amused.

     *ahem*  Down to business:

     Curtis:  Market Closing Ceremonies (Minicon 19) tape?  Need
Sim, Jay Ward permission, among others.  Need Board to advertize [sic]
in Rune and Einblatt.  Much discussion, some clarification.  Who
Markets?  Anyone saying no will scotch deal.
     Firm decision reached:  Water may be tested.  "Send a cassette
to Carol Burnett and have her do an Earth-pig laugh." -- Don.

     Re Rune/disclaimer:  Roy Tackett letter applauded. Neil Rest
letter sniggered at.

     Karen wants to use badge maker.  (Former policy -- Replace/pay
for badge parts.  Don't Break machine.)  Karen promises not to make
political badges.  Not discussed:  What Karen considers apolitical.

     Sharon makes a motion "recommending that we read the bylaws as
entertainment."  Not voted on but various passages' interpretations
discussed.

     Announcement thru Scott that Rick Gellman wants to do Fall con as
training for the Minnesota Munchie Movement (MMM).  Any others want
to do fall con?  Rumors abound.  "All conflicting parties should play
a game of poker." -- Sharon.  All proposals should be in ASAP, meeting
5/10 for decision.

     Stamps for remaining Run/disclamers [sic] authorized.

     People are encouraged to save milk cartons for Milk Carton Board
Race.  Need 2000 for Admiral Class.

     Tell Jan Howard Finder to order 2 cases of Beam's Choice w/
Special Tucker label.

     "We're adjourning." "Count me in."
