We still need a Recording Secretary, but the attending board members had no recollection of what was decided at the last meeting about candidates. (We don't remember because we don't have a recording secretary to remind us.) Martin Schafer proposes, in absentia, to run a fall convention in 1991 that would be substantially larger than past fall conventions but much smaller than Minicon. Margin wants $1000 for starting funds and intends this convention to be the first of a series of similar conventions. He is planning to hold the convention one week after Worldcon, possibly at the Sheraton Park Place. Peter Hentges proposes that Minn-stf support the game convention called TWINCON next year. The organizer of last year's TWINCON made a profit of about $1500 and left town with all the records and his profits. TWINCON plans to make $3000 next year. They are looking for $7000 in seed money. There are several open questions about the kind of relationship they want to have with Minn-stf and the kind of relationship that would be appropriate. The meeting dissolved into discussions of cats, group homes, and how the fellow typing minutes never listens to what is going on.
