Attending: Victor Raymond, Kay Drache, Dean Gahlon, Martin Schafer,
Thomas Keeley, Polly Peterson, Karen Cooper, all gathered safely in the lovely
home of the lovely Kay Drache.


Victor on Minicon - He would like to see a multi-year contract [with the
Radisson Hotel] in place. He believes that Pat and/or Jolene may retire,
leaving us to deal with their replacements, howsoever uncongenial they might
be. We agree that we have no other viable hotel options, and he will pursue
it, acting as the Board's agent.

We ask that any such contract will spell out Security and Ops details, any
room rate increases, and so forth.


Emsh Exhibit - This project needs $1,500 worth of new art show panels. We OK
as a capital expense. We also OK the building/acquisition of carts to haul the
stuff around.


The Camel - Needs upgraded RAM (current system has a whopping one meg), a
bigger HD and a VGA card.Thomas Keeley believes he can get stuff cheaper than
the $600 we approve. We agree to give the current 40 meg hard drive to
Greg Cotton.


OTML - Thomas spoke without benefit of Barry or D'escargot. (Anyone who misses
the pun should not admit it). The old OTML has been decommissioned. We are
changing software to a DBF format which is DBase III-compatible. There was
much discussion of the minutia pertaining herewith.

Our annual directory mailing has been moved to January. The Board requests
more frequent distribution of updated directories. (You know, like Scott Raun
used to do).


TOTU - We seem to be required to send TOTU to the Library of Congress to
register our copyright. This is passed to Eric, to be checked on at the next
meeting.


High Schools - Let's hear a proposal for aid and/or scholarships. Karen says
she will look into it, but admittedly hasn't yet. Also she will speak to
Bailey, as it was his original idea.


Fourth Annual SF Group Gathering - Will be on January 21, 1996. Eric wants a
MNStf rep. Polly will call our Beloved President Lydia, or our Beloved
Vice President, Bailey, and ask them to do it.


New Year's Party - We recall $150 seed money.


Postage Bill - Paying An issue. We will ask Julie to attend the January Board meeting.
