Minn-StF has resurrected the Quartermaster position, and trying to generate a list of everything we own. Joel Phillips has accepted the position, and will be organizing an inventory of the storage locker. Publishing News
Naomi Kritzer's "Cat Pictures Please" won the Hugo for "Best Short Story."
The Sandman: Overture, written by Neil Gaiman, won the Hugo for "Best Graphic Story" and is also a Dragon Awards nominee for "Best Graphic Novel."
Gaiman's The View From The Cheap Seats was #1 sf/f hc Barnes & Noble bestseller, per the list in the August Locus; it was also hc "runner-up" (e.g. #11) on Locus's own list in that issue. And the audiobook of his American Gods was #2 fantasy bestseller on that month's audible.com list.
