The Minn-StF Board is soliciting bids for Minicon 53.

Minn-StF has resurrected the Quartermaster position, and trying to generate a list of everything we own. Joel Phillips has accepted the position, and will be organizing an inventory of the storage locker. If you have any items owned by Minn-StF in your possession, please let Joel know at the e-mail address quartermaster@mnstf.org.

Publishing News

Naomi Kritzer's "Cat Pictures Please" won the Hugo for "Best Short Story."

The Sandman: Overture, written by Neil Gaiman, won the Hugo for "Best Graphic Story" and is also a Dragon Awards nominee for "Best Graphic Novel."

Gaiman's The View From The Cheap Seats was #1 sf/f hc Barnes & Noble bestseller, per the list in the August Locus; it was also hc "runner-up" (e.g. #11) on Locus's own list in that issue. And the audiobook of his American Gods was #2 fantasy bestseller on that month's audible.com list.
