Minn-StF has resurrected the Quartermaster position, and trying to generate a list of everything we own. Publishing News

Ellen and Mary Kuhfeld are publishing on Amazon as "Monica Ferris Presents". They're putting Mary's backlog up where people can get at it. Currently they have the five Peter Brichter mysteries by Mary Monica Pulver, Secret Murder by Ellen Kuhfeld, and Minnesota Vice, ten short stories by Ellen and Mary.

Kelly Barnhill's The Girl Who Drank the Moon (Algonquin Young Readers) won the 2017 Newberry Medal.

Kij Johnson's "The Dream Quest of Vellitt Boe" is a 2016 Nebula "Best Novella" nominee. Kij was also interviewed in the January issue of Lightspeed.

Marissa Lingen had a story, "Upside the Head," in Science Fiction by Scientists (ed. M Brotherton, Springer 2016).

The March/April Magazine of F&SF contains a story, "Daisy," by Eleanor Arnason, and a poem, "Spacemail Only," by Ruth Berman.

Louise Erdrich sold a fantasy novel, Future House of the Living Dead, to Harper.

Marlon James sold his "Dark Star" trilogy (fantasy novels set in Africa) to Riverhead.

Neil Gaiman's American Gods: The Tenth Anniversary Edition was again #1 pb on the January Locus bestsellers list; his Neverwhere and American Gods were also #1 and #7 audiobook fantasy bestsellers on the audible.com list in the same issue.

Lois McMaster Bujold's Gentleman Joie and the Red Queen was #8 trade pb on the January Locus list
