Consuite...

The Minicon consuite is a place to hang out between panels, after hours, or when you don't feel like doing anything else. It features a wide assortment of snacks, drinks and comfortable seating.

The consuite will open at 3pm on Friday. If we have enough volunteers, it will stay open continuously until Sunday at 4pm, at which point it collapses into the bar for the Dead Dog Party. If we run short on volunteers late at night, it will close and then reopen at 8am.

Pizza and other significant food items arrive in the consuite from time to time. While we don't recommend trying to sustain yourself for three days solely on consuite food, a sufficiently thrifty fan can get by with only one or two dinners out.

... and Bar

Our bar, adjacent to the consuite, serves additional food as well as a selection of beer, hard cider and wine. (This is not a cash bar; it is included in your membership.) It opens each day somewhere between midday and afternoon, depending on how the previous night went, and is open until we all give up. This includes Sunday night, during which it hosts the Dead Dog party. Note: the drinking age in Minnesota is currently 21. Minors are welcome in the bar, they just can't drink.

The Bar opens at 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and stays open until we drop.

The bar is oft-times the site of rogue, and possibly rouge, late-night programming. Beware.

Parties

We will have the Dead Dog party in the bar Sunday night, starting at 5pm or when closing ceremonies ends. The Dead Dog party is also a Yuri's Night party.

We will have the Dessicated Dodo party at the house of Dean Gahlon and Laura Krentz, 4423 France Ave S, Minneapolis, on Monday night after the con, starting at 7pm. All Minicon members are welcome.

We will have the Devonian Ductina party at the house of Matt and Kelly Strait, 1631 Selby Ave, Apt #1, Saint Paul on Saturday April 10. First there's the Minicon 45 post-mortem meeting at 2pm, and then the party at 5pm. This is an open meeting/party for anyone who would like to attend. In fact, it's also a Minn-stf "meeting", which means a party that makes you a MNstf member for life.
