Minicon 4
Minicon 4 was held in 18–20 June 1971 at the Curtis Hotel (Minneapolis). It was chaired by Jim Young and had a membership of about 150. Lin Carter was the guest of honor.

Membership Card
Previously we called this a badge, but it is not. What's a "membership card", you ask? As per Mark Olsen in 2024, "The idea started very early. Conventions issued cards to each member. Sometimes they were filled out by the member, sometimes numbered and signed by the convention's secretary. It’s not clear that they actually did anything, but for decades they were part of the -- ritual? -- of joining a convention."

Flyer
Here's a flyer advertising the convention. It's a photo of the original marker drawing of the flyer. We presume that the flyer ended up being reproduced and used, but that's just an assumption!
