METHOD Con 2 attendees will have access to both our free Consuite and two optional dinner meals: a Friday Pizza Party and a Saturday India Buffet, that are not included in the membership price.

Consuite

Consuite (room 302) should open at 2pm Friday and stay open until Sunday late, with some closed periods if no one is up. We will try to have a morning person reopen the room each morning. Consuite will be stocked with snacks (sweet, salty, veggies, and some cheese and meat) and beverages.

Friday - Pizza Party (optional)

Optional group order for pizza on Friday at ~ 5:30 PM in the Programming Room (room 157). See Scott or Irene before Friday at 4 PM if you want to participate. They plan to order from Pizza Luce and will have a list of pizzas they plan to order on a per slice basis. Bring ~$4 cash per slice (it might be less, but better to have it). They will "cheerfully agent special orders - gluten free WILL BE a special order." See Scott or Irene for menus to peruse.

Saturday - India Buffet (optional)

The optional Saturday dinner will be catered by Best of India in Saint Louis Park. Emily and Aaron are arranging this meal for us (Thank you to Emily and Aaron!) and have eaten there around 100 times, and say that it's always delicious. Dinner will arrive around 6:00 PM and will be ready to eat at about 6:30 PM. Please keep in mind that it might start somewhat earlier or later.


"Buffet style" worked really well last year, we'll do that again.

*Spiciness designations are "mild," "medium," and "spicy."

NOTE: We will try to have three or four spots for folks who attend with very little notice as a result of an unpredictable schedule. Please feel free to ask. Then hand Emily or a designated person $13 cash per participant before Friday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. She or someone she designates will be at major MnStf functions until METHOD Con. As at the event for who that may be. Note: if you can, please pay ahead. If you won't be in town until METHOD Con 2, you are still welcome to particpate. Please let Emily know via e-mail that you plan to settle up by Friday at the convention.

Local Restaurants

Patricia says: I'm really excited that Ikea is so near by (you can see it from the SW side of the hotel). Their cheap breakfast is hard to beat. Restaurant open 9:30 AM to 9 PM. 

The Mall of America is within a ~2 block walk and has lots of options: Baja Sol, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Noodles and Company, Panda Express, Rainforest Cafe, Ruby Tuesdays, and Subway, to name a few.
