Minn-stf was founded in 1966 and incorporated on 22 Feb 1972. For historical interest, here's the original constitution, published in Rune #7, from back when we were a University of Minnesota student group: front, back, front (as text), back (as text). And here are the original articles of incorporation and bylaws. Paper copies of these documents are stored in the Minn-stf archives.

We always have at least one meeting of the membership each year, called the "regular annual meeting" in the bylaws and the "voting meeting" colloquially. In recent years, this has been our only meeting at which any business at all takes place (we vote in the new board), and no minutes are taken, since all other business is traditionally done by the board. However, this has not always been so.
